The core of DP12 is the SHARC DSP engine, which can drive four amplification channels from four inputs. DP12 also features flash memory for preset storage and management, high-performance A/D, D/A converters, AES/EBU audio signal input, a universal SMPS (switch mode power supply) with PFC (power factor correction), a front panel user interface, and dual Ethernet ports.

 

DP12 has four input connectors, allowing it to receive four analog signals and four digital signals, depending on the input mode selected by the user.

This architecture also allows for digital to analog backup conversion.

 

DP12 is a green power amplifier controller that relies on a universal SMPS (switch mode power supply) power supply of 100 to 240V (± 10%) suitable for the following purposes. SMPS has PFC (Power Factor Correction) function, which maximizes the power efficiency of the amplifier, utilizes nearly 100% of available electrical energy, and has extremely high resistance to unstable power supply. This indicates a significant reduction in the electrical power requirements of the following devices (cable specifications, power regulation, etc.), resulting in significant savings. The Class D amplifier circuit ensures the energy efficiency of DP12, thereby minimizing heat dissipation.
