The MD-15 features a powerful 15- inch (380 mm)/3-inch (75 mm) voice coil low-frequency driver unit, a 1.4-inch (35 mm) outlet high-frequency compression driver, and a 3-inch (75 mm) polyimide diaphragm for extended high-frequency response. Its 80 ° x 50 ° coverage mode is very suitable for mid-range applications, providing excellent vocal performance at very high sound levels without being jarring. The MD-15 shell is made of 15mm engineered multi-layer plywood and coated with black textured paint on the surface. Cloth backed protective steel grille protects the driver and provides M8 inserts for hanging and installing eyebolts.
